Benchmark Methodologies and Statements
The UK Benchmarks Regulation (BMR) is a wide-reaching regulation, which echoes the European Benchmarks Regulation and applies a common framework to the regulation of benchmarks. Information about the status of globalCOAL's benchmarks under the BMR is provided here. The BMR benchmark statements and methodologies are also available on this section of the website.
Since 12 December 2019, Global Commodities Holdings Ltd (of which globalCOAL is a division) has been registered with the FCA as an authorised benchmark administrator under the BMR. View the register. Supervised entities in the UK, such as regulated exchanges, may therefore use benchmarks published by globalCOAL. Please read the press release announcement issued here.
